Starting at Barton's Body Shop as a co-op student from AlWood High School, Ed has over 45 years of service under his belt. His love for auto body work proved rewarding when he purchased the shop from Gary Barton in 2003.

As a resident of Alpha and a collector of antiques, Ed can be seen driving around town in his 1949 Ford F1 green pickup truck with a fishing pole hanging out the back (you may have noticed the painting of his truck on the front of the building). He is also a collector of classic radios that line the walls of the shop's lobby.


Terry Nelson

Terry Nelson
Frame and Wheel Alignment Technician

As a resident of Woodhull, IL, Terry has worked at Barton's Body Shop for over 45 years. He operates the Brakes, Frame, and Alignment section in the southern wing of the body shop.

Terry takes pride in his community by volunteering his time as a firefighter for Clover township. He is also an avid car enthusiast, rebuilding classic vehicles and displaying them at car shows.


Craig Genisio

Craig Genisio
Auto Body Repair Technician

Residing in Woodhull, IL, Craig has worked at Barton's Body Shop for over 30 years. His skills include auto body repair, auto body painting, glass replacement, and mechanical work.

Outside the body shop, Craig supports the economy of Alpha by owning the local car wash, and Genisio's Bar in Woodhull, IL. He also contributes his time to the Genisio Meat locker in Woodhull. His love for automobiles can be seen in his restored 1965 Pontiac GTO.
